Foreign substances such as hand oil, sebum and ultrasound gel can transfer to print media while it is being replaced or replenished. Once that matter reaches the print head, it causes faults such as vertical streaks in the print.

Sony’s UPP-110 series thermal print media is made from material unlikely to contaminate the print head, and its protective coating lifts foreign substances off the head during every print — so head cleaning happens continuously and image quality stays consistent. 110 mm x 20 m, 100 GSM, 5 rolls per box.
